Wow, time sure flies

There is a good reason this is titled boring, it's because nothing new is ever posted so there for it is boring! Lots of new stuff going on but alas I won't be adding it here now. Just remembered this was here and popped over. I'll be back, when I cannot say, hopefully within a day. Uh, that was an attempt at poetry. hehe.

Ok, here it is Monday and I'm anxious for the auction to be done and over. I'm still working on things for it, I have only the poncho to make a drawstring and ?? I don't know what I have left to do, I will have to consult my list but first I have to find my list!!!! I'm looking forward to going to the auction, it was a lot of fun last year so it should be fun again this year. The Madrigals - Tarah will be singing through the whole thing. When you get there you have awhile to walk around and view all the things up for auction and if you see something you like you bid on it. Then you have dinner & another opportunity to check your bids and up your bid if necessary and the the guy starts auctioning off the upper end items which are usually a day at a spa or car detailing, last year they had a HUGE tv, although it was used. Strange but oh well. Today I made two nightgowns for the two dolls Robyn is donating. If the bids are not high enough we will bid on them ourselves. Since the money goes into Tarah's account and Robyn and Joe have to come up with the money for the balance on the trip it just makes sense to bid on it yourself.

I have some pictures of Michael Jeffery, Heather's new baby. He's really cute and is about a month and a half old now. I'll have to look up the dates, well no, he was born on Dec. 14th, the day before Rob's birthday. Heather said she was trying to hold off but this guy wanted to see the daylight so at 11:45 p.m. he was born. Just 15 more minutes and he would have shared the day with his great grandpa Rob! It feels so weird to refer to him or myself as a great grandparent. Even more strange for mom to call herself great great grandma! I'm kind of use to it though since Nolan will be 3 this year. I don't have any yet of Jessica's baby, Jaydn, no that is not a typographical error, that is how she spells his name which is okay but the poor kid will be correcting his name to everyone for the rest of his life. Sliver and Gold charming

Back again quickly. I think I am going to drop this blog. I don't think anyone has seen it so it won't really matter. I had wanted one that would be for my family to sort of keep up on what's going on here but so far I don't think my family has seen any of this blog. I'll think about it, I may copy and paste the whole thing into a new one that will be for friends too. I have a picture of a pretty bracelet I have made for Tarah's auction at school. Actually I made 4 of them with matching earrings. I think they are all pretty. If I can find the picture that has all 3 of them in it I'll use that one. Found it! They are actually very pretty. There are no less than 88 beads of silver and multi color glass beads each on its own head pin attached to the silver link bracelet. The same with the the browns and gold. The other silver looking one is glass beads with silver foil and silver beads, maybe only 50+ beads. Well that is it, I'm going to go and work on a baby afghan that is also for the auction. Wow! Nearly 2 months have gone by...

...doesn't really matter, no one reads this anyway! But I came across this picture I had taken of moms fishing boat which is mine and hangs on my wall. It's so gorgeous and I only hope it turns out as nice here as it does when viewing it in other programs. It just disappeared so I'll go and get it again. I was hoping it would be bigger but I uploaded using their largest setting and this is how big it is. That is ok, It's still really pretty. The background is actually a greenish blue. Greens do odd things on computers. Anyway, just found it and wanted to post it. I will have to write to all my sibs again and see if I can get someone to read these or at least look at the pictures and maybe, just maybe a comment or two. That is it for now, I am going to bed. Oh, it was my birthday today (10 minutes ago it' s now the 24th. Ah well, it was lovely while it lasted! goodnight...Judy
